Chatham Transport and Travel Directions
Chatham is surrounded by a network of roads like A2 and M2 to the west and continuing eastward to meet the coastal towns, M26 bypassing the town and connecting its Southwest to the Southeast and the roads A26 and A229 connecting the town to the south.
Ramsgate Ferry Port and Dover Ferry Port are the ferry ports which both lie to the east of the town and both are about 44 miles away from Chatham. The operator at Ramsgate is Transeuropa Ferries with daily crossings to Ostend. Daily crossings from Dover to Calais are offered by Sea France and P&O Ferries. Norfolkline is the operator for Dover to Dunkerque, whilst Speed Ferries is for Dover to Boulogne.
