Wessex Way ( A338) dual carriageway connects Bournemouth to the A31 trunk road which later connects to M27 at Southampton, after which the M3 leads to London. Fast access may also be gained via the A34 to the M4 north of Newbury, Berkshire.
There are two operators in Bournemouth namely Transdev Yellow Buses and Wilts & Dorset. Yellow Buses operates services in the Bournemouth area, while Wilts & Dorset connects Bournemouth to surrounding areas such as Lymington, Poole, Salisbury and Wimborne.
