Blackpool Transport and Travel Directions
While travelling on M6 one needs to take the junction 32, further moving on to M55. Signs for Blackpool, South Shore (via Blackpool Airport) and then the brown tourist signs to Blackpool Pleasure Beach can be followed to reach the city.
The bus service which operates in and around Blackpool is Blackpool Transport under the operational name Metro Coastlines. Blackpool's regional bus and coach service which carries passengers in and out of the city is Stagecoach which operates as Stagecoach Express. While the long distance coaches are operated by National Express. Stagecoach and National Express use the Blackpool Talbot Road Bus Station.
Blackpool transport runs the Blackpool tramway which is one of the oldest tramway in the world dating back to 1885.
Blackpool International Airport serves domestic and some European destinations. Public transport facilities like bus, train and cars can easily be availed. It is located at the end of M55.
