Linen provided in holiday cottages or self catering accommodation

The linen provided at different holiday cottages and self catering accommodation varies considerably depending on the owners.

Most holiday cottages and self catering accommodation owners provide linen at no extra charge, and this is usually stated in the property description. Some cottage owners prefer to hire out their linen and/or towels at a modest price, which will be in the property description. If you need to hire linen or towels, you must request this at the time of booking.

Bed Linen

Bed Linen comprises of sheets or duvets covers, bottom sheets and pillow cases.

If you are providing your own linen please check with the cottage owner or caretaker as to what is required.

A change of linen may be provided weekly for bookings of two weeks or more, on request. Please note on your booking form if a change of linen is required.

If linen is supplied at the property, this does not include cot linen, you should bring linen for cots in all cases (including pillows and blankets or duvets).

Towels

You should bring your own towels and tea towels except when stated that towels are provided.

Tea towels may not be provided unless otherwise stated.

Where towels are provided, it will be stated in the description. They must not be removed from the property and you must remember to bring your own beach towels.

One bath towel and one hand towel per person are provided where stated in the property description. Otherwise they can sometimes be booked at a nominal fee (please ask for more details).
