A pretty self contained Victorian cottage. Attached to the owner's 16th century property it has been newly updated to create spacious, comfortable high standard accommodation. It includes an enclosed private sunny courtyard garden with seating as well as ample parking. The cottage offers a well equipped bespoke kitchen, leading into an open plan living/dining area. There is a downstairs WC and handbasin. Upstairs there is a generous bathroom with bath, separate shower, washbasin and WC. The bedroom and bathroom lead off a spacious landing with views over the surrounding countryside. Large bedroom with king size bed. An ideal romantic setting for two to stay. Walk or bike from the door exploring the many footpaths in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside. The nearby market town of Easingwold has a wide range of shops and pubs, with award winning pubs in nearby villages. Close to the ancient city of York with numerous attractions ranging from the Minster to the National Railway Museum. The area also has a wide range of stately homes. A quiet setting with easy access to the whole of North Yorkshire.
Whitby, Scarborough and Bridlington are within an hour's drive travelling through beautiful countryside.
Nearest town is the Georgian market town of Easingwold with all amenities. 3 miles away
York is 16 miles away with numerous attractions, including the amazing Minster the Jorvic Centre and the National Railway Museum

Ampleforth has a newly updated indoor swimming pool while, for the hardier swimmer, a heated open air pool is available in Helmsley. Ampleforth also has a tea room in the Abbey grounds; the cider orchard is another attractive part of Ampleforth.
Helmsley provides beautiful shops in an attractive market town - it's a great place to pick up a picnic for a day out from its famous deli.
Comprehensive shopping facilities are available at Clifton Moor on York's northern ring road, the A1237. Supermarkets deliver regularly to this area.
Easy Park & Ride buses run frequently into York from Rawcliffe Bar just inside the northern ring road where it meets the A19.
