Stables, The
The Stables is a charming 200 year old beamed cottage situated near the centre of Monyash, a delightful Peak District village, It is comfortably furnished, has the benefit of oil fired central heating, off street parking and a beautiful secluded garden and barbecue area.
Monyash is very popular with walkers and cyclists, being within easy reach of Lathkill Dale, the Monsal Trail, Limestone Way and Tissington Trail. The village pub is two minutes walk away, there is also a cosy tearoom/café and village play area. Monyash is ideally located for touring the whole of the Peak District, the market town of Bakewell is 5 miles away, Buxton 8 miles. Other popular attractions are Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Matlock Bath, the caverns at Castleton, Carsington Water and Alton Towers.
The accommodation comprises a heavily beamed lounge with a stone feature fireplace and satellite television, fitted kitchen installed in December 2015 complete with integrated cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave, bathroom with over bath shower.
