Squirrel's Drey
Squirrel's Drey is our stunning new addition for 2013, work was completed in April to convert a barn in the yard behind our existing cottages into a two bedroom cottage, it has been finished to the same high standards as our other three cottages, very similarly decorated and attention to detail.
The ground floor has a bathroom with Bath, Basin, WC and over Bath Shower, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom with bunk beds, the bunk beds are a very good quality suitable for children and adults to sleep on.
Upstairs is a bright and airy open plan Kitchen, Dining and living room space. The kitchen comprises of all modern built in fitted utilities including dishwasher, electric oven and hob, fridge and separate freezer, microwave and the cupboards are filled with all cutlery and crockery you may need during your stay.
The dining room has a solid oak table and four comfy leather chairs.
The seating area has two settees and tv with built in DVD player and free view digital box.
Above the living areas is a stunning mezzanine floor, with a glass balustrade providing extra space and offering stunning views out of the large sky light windows over the local fells, the double sofa can also be set up as double bed providing an extra sleeping area upon request
As with all of our cottages there is ample parking outside the cottage and it has use of all our communal facilities, laundry room, PC, Games room, BBQ area, Children's play field with equipment.
From the double bedroom a patio door leads out to the beautiful private outside space we have created for this cottage. A fully enclosed area where pets and children can play. This yard is a real sun trap, the patio table and chairs will give guests the opportunity to dine outside. there are children's ride on toys, a BBQ can be provided upon request.
