This comfortable home from home has wonderful views over the harbour and Brading Marsh RSPB reserve. It has lots of space as there are two sitting rooms each with their own television.
We have an amazing top floor suite with large lounge leading on to a large balcony where you can sit with a glass of wine and watch the ships go by. This room includes a double bed on a mezzanine and an ensuite shower.
The floor below has 3 bedrooms, 1 double and 2 twin, and a bathroom all with super views.
Going down a floor is the other lounge with balcony and a dining area leading in to the well equipped kitchen. This level has a shower room.
For washing out those sandy bathers we have a sink in the utility room on the ground floor together with a washing machine and tumble drier.
The house would suit 2 families as there is lots of room to spread out.
Wi-fi broadband and a telephone for incoming calls.
There are lovely walks from the house especially across the Old Mill wall to the National Trust Duver with beaches and open land to play. Bembridge has a variety of beaches for sunbathing, rock pooling and barbequeing.
The fantastic Tackt-Isle Adventure Centre is on the Duver offering water sports, bike hire, segways, kite flying and much more.
For eating out there are many good places nearby - cafes, restaurants, pubs.
A very good variety of shops in the 2 shopping areas of Bembridge including 2 local supermarkets, a greengrocers owned by Jane & Duncan who stock not only low food mile vegetables but also organic produce and supplies, the fish shop sells fish caught by local fishermen, 2 delicatessens, a small Boots with pharmacy, a flower shop, jewellers, Lloyds Bank, hairdressers, beauty salon, restaurants, take aways, pubs and a barge selling crabs & lobsters just along the road.
