Swinbrook is a very pretty village in the Cotswolds with lovely period cottages a popular 16th century pub with a great menu and bar - serving real ale and walks beside the Windrush including one walk to Burford perfect for dog walkers. The village is also known for its association with Love in a Cold Climate authoress Nancy Mitford and her famous family who are buried in the churchyard. Lord Redesdale their father lived in Swinbrook House and built the nearby Georgian vicarage. To complete the picture watch some local cricket on the green. Outside this property has its own secluded gravelled courtyard within the extensive grounds of The Old Vicarage with views across to the pretty 13th century Swinbrook church. There is ample parking too.
