National Trust s medieval Bodiam Castle is only ten minutes away by car and makes a fun and interesting day out for the whole family. The front door opens into the spectacular lounge which boasts an exposed brick wall and ceiling trusses a high vaulted ceiling eclectic artwork and French windows to the garden beyond. This room has been furnished with two large sofas an Ottoman sideboard and extra cosy touches for winter evenings. Stairs lead up to a mezzanine level with a desk perfect for those wishing to work while they re away but still remain close to the activities. The contemporary kitchen is arranged in two parts at either side of a corridor and features sleek cabinets and a stone floor. At one side you will find the washing machine dishwasher sink and cupboards with the cooking area with electric oven and hob sink fridge freezer and microwave with grill at the other. Once you have finished preparing your meals head to the cosy dining room which has an oriental-style feature wall and table to seat six. One bedroom with a king-size bed is located on this floor in the oast roundel which has access to the downstairs bathroom with shower over bath. Upstairs the second bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with WC and features a king-size bed and pretty furniture. Outside the timber clad garden room is a tranquil space to enjoy all year round and houses a sofa chairs and coffee table. Outside there is a pretty paved area with garden furniture where you can enjoy summer BBQs overlooking the Sussex countryside.
