For a quiet break in the beauty of Snowdonia, choose a week or a weekend break at Ty Nant. Ty Nant is a Scandinavian style log cabin with 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 to 5 people. Brithdir is a village 4 miles from Dolgellau with commanding views of Cadair Idris.
"Ty Nant" (Brook Cottage) occupies a pleasant position beside a stream, with lawns extending to a pond at the centre of the group of neighbouring properties. Note that the gardens are open plan.
Facilities at Ty Nant include:-
- 1 double bedroom
- 1 twin bedroom
- sun room with full size folding bed
- kitchen (electric oven / hob, microwave oven, fridge, washer / dryer)
fully equipped with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils
- living room / dining room (freesat digital TV, wood burning fire)
- bathroom with electric shower
- heating is by night storage radiators (electricity included) supplemented by the woodburning stove for extra cosiness
- open plan gardens
- parking for 2 cars
Bedlinen, electricity and an initial supply of wood for the wood-burning fire are included. Guests must remember to bring their own towels and tea towels.
A £30 deposit is required to secure a reservation, full rental amount is due 6 weeks before the start of your holiday. The £30 will be returned after your visit provided the cottage is left reasonably clean, tidy and undamaged.
We try to accommodate weekly changeovers on either Friday or Saturday, with Saturdays only in the main holiday periods.
