Masham has a great selection of small traditional shops, pubs, tea rooms and restaurants along with two famous breweries, Theakston and The Black Sheep, both offering guided tours. It is ideally located for touring the whole of the Yorkshire Dales as well as the North York Moors. Ripon with its cathedral, Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden are all close by. The beautiful spa town of Harrogate is only a 40 minutes’ drive, and the historic minster of York is an hour away. Shops 100 yards, pubs and restaurant 250 yards.
