The property is located directly on the loch side and still has the original pier and smoke house with direct access to shingle beach and unspoilt views of Loch Striven and Rothesay. The beautiful Cowal Peninsular offers an exceptional highland experience with deep glens waterfalls rivers acres of forest and hills to explore. The estate is in a peaceful secluded location and is well placed for exploring the area and for day trips to Glasgow Loch Lomond and the Clyde coast. There are extensive walks mountain bike trails as well as fishing clay shooting stalking hillwalking and golf. Dunoon is the main town in the area and offers a museum leisure centre and a fascinating selection of craft shops galleries cafes and restaurants. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double with patio doors leading to enclosed decked seating area and 1 zip-and-link (which can be made as double on request). Bathroom: with bath and WC on the ground floor. Shower room: with WC and sauna on the lower ground floor. Lounge: with open fire (logs included) TV DVD Freeview and patio doors leading onto decked balcony area with seating and loch views. Kitchen/diner: with electric hob and oven washer/dryer dishwasher fridge freezer and microwave. Outside: garden with seating. Amenities: off-road parking. Bed linen towels electric central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking. 2 medium sized dogs welcome. Additional info: further sleeping accommodation suitable for 15 years plus is available in the smoke house. Accessed via steep ladder stairs: 1 double with patio doors and balcony. Bathroom: with bath and WC. In the main cottage there are steep stairs down to lower ground floor. The property is on a working estate with stalking in the summer and shooting in the winter. Pier is accessible with seating area however great care required with children. Location: shop and pub 11 miles. Arrival: 4pm.
