No.3. Holmer Cottages is a self-contained wing of the owner's adjoining house. All on o e level with no steps or stairs and it is ideal for the wheelchair bound or slightly disabled. It is extremely comfortable, with full central heating and furnished to a very high standard.
It has a large sitting/dining room, a double bedroom with an en suite shower room with toilet and hand-basin and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, electric cooker, washing machine, a fridge/freezer, a microwave,kettle, toaster etc. Outside there is parking and a large garden with garden furniture under the pear tree overlooking the orchard.
Woolstone is small, quiet rural village, just a few houses and an ancient church, on the side of the Cotswold Hills overlooking the Severn Valley. It is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with extensive views to the Forest of Dean, the Malvern Hills, Bredon Hill and on a clear day, the Brecon Beacons. All around is good walking and riding country. The next village, half-a-mile away has a good pub with a restaurant, a village shop/post office and a riding stables.
Within a radius of 6 miles are Cheltenham, Winchcombe and Tewkesbury. Cheltenham has an excellent shopping, a theatre, museums, restaurants and a famous racecourse. Tewkesbury, with its rivers, abbey and medieval alleyways has many antique and bric-a-brac shops and a market twice a week.
