The village of Tintern is set beside the River Wye in the heart of the Wye Valley. The market towns of Chepstow and Monmouth are both a few miles away. Tintern is home to famous Tintern Abbey, dating from the 12th Century and immortalised in Wordsworth's poem. There are pubs, restaurants and craft centres in Tintern, as well as an award-winning vineyard. Excellent walking in the Forest of Dean and along Offa's Dyke is close by, as are good cycle routes and fishing opportunities.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
