The bustling village of St Merryn is just three miles from Padstow and eleven miles from Newquay. The village has many amenities including shops, bars, restaurants and a post office.

The village's motto is 'seven bays for seven days'. This comes from the seven beaches in the parish. Two of these beaches are Booby's Bay and Harlyn Bay which are within two miles from St Merryn and are perfect for the surfing and rock pooling.

Within a ten minute drive, are the safe life-guarded sandy beaches of Mother Ivey's Bay, Treyamon Bay and Porthcothan, which are excellent for families.

Nearby is the harbour town of Padstow, which has a number of shops and restaurants. For walkers and cyclists, the Camel Trail, which runs from Padstow is essential, and is one of the best known trails in Cornwall.

Within a thirty minute drive from St Merryn is the wonderful Eden Project, The Blue Reef Aquarium and the Crealy Adventure Park.

This part of Cornwall is perfect and ideal at any time of the year.

Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

After a 10 hour car journey arriving at such a lovely presented property was so worth while. The bungalow was so fully equipped for a self catering holiday, there were windbreaks to borrow, a hairdryer, an iron and an ironing board. A lovely comfortable place. Our favourite place was Porthcothan Bay.
Mrs Longstaff, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire
July 2012

,Nice quiet location
Mr Spooner, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
June 2011

,The property is in a beautiful part of Cornwall.
Mr Scheffer, Amstelveen, Netherlands
April 2011

,The accommodation was very good with plenty of things to keep you entertained if the weather was bad.
