Old School House Coastal Cottage, Pwllheli, North Wales (Ref 3857), The,Pwllheli Information
The Old School House, a converted school building, has been refurbished to a high standard, but has kept many features. From thick stone walls and arched windows to a lovely wooden front door, this cottage has an abundance of character.

The Old School House is ideal for families, with three bedrooms - one first floor double and two ground floor twin bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen with dining area and two sitting rooms. Of the two sitting rooms, the delightful first floor sitting area is perfect for an evening relaxing, and the front decked area is ideal for meals after a busy day exploring the area.

The Old School House is a perfect base for visiting many places in the area.

South Beach has been awarded a Blue Flag Award.

Only six miles away is Abersoch, a lovely town with an impressive harbour, beaches and watersports. Also close by is Criccieth, with a visit to the town's Castle is essential for magnificent views.

A large amount of the peninsula is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a lot of the coastline, with sandy beaches and breathtaking cliff tops,is owned by the National Trust. Further afield, are Snowdonia, Bardsey Island and Anglesey.

This magnificent part of Wales is wonderful for exploring and relaxing.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

We enjoyed the warmth and cosiness of the cottage and the lovely master bedroom. The upstairs sitting room had a good view (when it wasn't raining!), and the Llyn Peninsula as a whole was good.
Mrs Hopkins, Harrogate, North Yorkshire
June 2012

,A good cottage in the city with golf courses nearby.
Mr Saint-leger, Renens,
June 2012

,Great location in easy reach of the sailing club and all the facilities of the town. A charming house inside and out, peaceful and nice views from the upstairs.
Mrs Burrell, Southend-on-sea, Essex
May 2012

,The cottage is in a great central location, just a couple of minutes walk to all the local amenities. It is a nicely furnished property with ample kitchen crockery and utensils. The bedrooms are nicely laid out and very comfortable. The children were well catered for with highchair, cot and stair gate in the property ready to use and easy to assemble. There is a lovely decking area to the front of the property with table and chairs for six which, when it is out, sees the sun all day long. The cottage has modern furnishings, is very clean and has a "home from home" feel.
Ms Stedman, Norwich, Norfolk
September 2011
