Set in the small township of Kendram, in the village of Kilmaluag on the Isle of Skye, this traditional cottage is stone built and boasts wonderful open views across The Minch, an Atlantic sea strait. Just made for a rural getaway, the cottage is cosy and light, with sea views from many windows. There is one double room, one twin and one single, and open fires in both the sitting and dining rooms. The area offers terrific walking and climbing, some of it literally on the doorstep, and this cottage is perfectly based for enjoying the spectacular scenery of the Isle.

The tiny township of Kendram in the village of Kilmaluag sits on the northern tip of the beautiful Isle of Skye, amidst the most stunning scenery and fabulous walking opportunities you could wish for. The natural beauty of the Isle entices visitors to return again and again, lured back by the abundance of wildlife, variety of birds, variety of walking terrains and the spectacular sea life including puffin colonies and the occasional glimpse of a whale. Take the ferry from Uig to the Outer Hebrides, or just relax on this wonderful unspoilt Island.

From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
