A 5 minute drive takes you to the golden sandy beach at Woolacombe which is ideal for families to paddle their feet build sandcastles body board or try their hand at surfing. For more practiced surfers the nearby beaches of Putsborough Croyde and Saunton are definitely worth a visit. If golf is your hobby of choice you will be spoilt with 2 championship courses at Saunton and the acclaimed Royal North Devon Golf Club at Westward Ho!.
