Brecon and Abergavenny have Michelin restaurants and fabulous food and jazz festivals respectively and there are certainly plenty of places to potter about and soak up the character of the area. The more adventurous will enjoy day trips to the majestic waterfalls walks along the mountain ridgelines fishing on the River Usk canoeing on the River Wye or zippng across the fields at the local Adventure Training and watersports centre in Llangorse.
