You will also be a short drive to a variety of attractions with something to suit everyone including The Big Sheep The Milky Way The Gnome Reserve numerous National Trust properties Clovelly with its steep stepped cobbled streets and fishing trips Dartington Crystal Tamar Otter and Wild Wood Launceston Steam Railway and more. The sandy family beaches of Widemouth Bay Bude and Westward Ho! are all close by. The towns of Holsworthy and Bideford are also nearby and offer weekly open air markets swimming pools and other sports recreations plus a wide range of shops pubs and restaurants. For those who enjoy wildlife and walks take a trip to the Tamar Lakes also famous for its birdwatching and watersports. In the evening stroll to the village square with its shops and pubs serving excellent bar meals. Leisure facilities: fishing available in the purpose-built lake fishing is 6 per day or 25 per week (no charge for children) payable to the owner during your stay. Outside: guests can enjoy a stroll around the edge of the lake relax in the extensive gardens watch the bay fawns playing in July. Shared utility room: with washing machine and freezer.
