Although slightly inland Dorchester is a great base from which to explore Dorset s Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site as well as the cosmopolitan resorts of Bournemouth and Poole. There are several attractions close by including Weymouth with its seafront beaches Sealife Centre and harbour Abbotsbury Swannery Lulworth Cove and Castle Durdle Door and Monkey World.
