There are far reaching views over open fields and the cottage s thick walls retain warmth for cosy winter visits and cool for summer days. The quiet immediate location is a haven for birds including birds of prey and many small garden varieties. Wildlife is abundant here and in the National Trust Ashclyst Forest which this cottage overlooks. This makes the area ideal for energetic walkers or a quiet ramble along the forest paths and around Broadclyst village. The East Devon beaches are a short drive away with their sheltered coves sandy and pebble beaches coastal walking or a stroll along the prom at Sidmouth. The Jurassic Coast provides plenty of fossil hunting and the National Trust at nearby Killerton House and Bicton Gardens make a great day out. The nearby town of Exeter has facilities to suit all tastes with its ancient Cathedral remaining Roman wall and modern shopping centre. The quay area is particularly interesting for a stroll and lunch or simply sitting beside the River Exe watching the world go by. The accommodation is furnished and equipped to a high standard and offers ONE bedroom: double with TV/DVD approached via open cottage style stairs with en-suite corner bath shower over and WC. Lounge: with double sofa bed coal effect electric fire TV DVD and Freeview. Kitchen/diner: farmhouse style with cooker washing machine fridge freezer and microwave.
