Or 1 mile in the other direction takes you to the sandy beaches of Westward Ho! the salt marshes of Northam Burrows and the site of England s oldest golf course The Royal North Devon. Other attractions which are short trips away include Clovelly Lundy Island The Big Sheep and The Milky Way. Or you could just enjoy the evening views of the estuary from the small enclosed patio area. Seals have been spotted just below the house. The accommodation is arranged over three floors and retains much charm including steep cottage-style stairs. There are FOUR bedrooms: on the second floor there are 2 singles both accessed via a step up 1 with estuary views and additional trundle bed (can be made into a double or twin on request) and 1 with en-suite shower and WC. On the first floor is 1 large double and 1 bunk room with 2 6 beds (suitable for children under 12). Bathroom: on the first floor has 4 6 bath with shower over bath heated towel rail and WC. The ground floor offers an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner: well-equipped with cooker fridge/freezer dishwasher washing machine (in understairs cupboard) microwave and seating area with a step down to bi-folding patio doors leading to a terrace. The lounge area offers a sitting area with TV and DVD. Outside: glass balustrade terrace with uninterrupted views over the estuary and towards the sea.
