Moat Path Cottage
Moat Path Cottage is a delightful barn conversion situated in the attractive village of Sedgeberrow, on the fringe of the Cotswolds near Evesham. The cottage is rated 4* by Visit England and so maintains a very high standard.
Dogs (maximum of 2) are now allowed!
Moat Path Cottage has been sympathetically converted and modernised to meet today’s high standards but retains a wealth of old beams and original features. Much of the furniture is antique and blends in completely with the cottage atmosphere. The cottage has been created to provide peace and tranquillity in a rural environment, hence the sitting room and bedrooms overlook the gardens.
In the Heart of England, Moat Path is an ideal place from which to explore the Cotswolds, stately homes, Shakespeare’s birthplace and surrounding areas; relax in the garden; swim in the heated outdoor pool; or try a spot of fishing along the riverbank! Easily accessible from just about anywhere - 30 miles from Birmingham, 50miles from Bristol and 100miles from London.
Moat Path has its own garden but is one of 4 properties at Hall Farm and therfore also benefits from a large shared garden complete with trampoline, slide/swing set and plenty of space for kids to run-around, plus an orchard to help yourself to apples - the kids love seeing the chickens too! The pool is privately owned and is 5 minute walk away and is shared with other Hall Farm guests.
Sedgeberrow is a thriving village with a great village shop ; a lovely pub serving home-cooked food; and a lovely church all within 200yds of the cottages.
Moat Path sleeps up to 6 guests plus cots and is very spacious. It has accommodation suitable for both old and young - children love their own 'suite' upstairs, whilst others may prefer to use the ground floor only. The accommodation is as follows:
Ground Floor - entrance hall, cloak room, double, twin, bathroom with shower-over-bath, cloakroom, kitchen (fully equipped for those who like cooking!) with breakfast area and back door direclty onto the garden, dining room, sitting room;
First Floor: large twin room, bathroom. Please note that the first floor is set in the eaves!
Its own fenced garden has a patio with teak garden furniture and a swing set for the kids (or adults!).
Children are extremely welcome and we will always try to provide you with as many items as possible from travel cot to toys…. Just ask!
In order to help you settle into your holiday right from the start we ensure that you have kitchen essentials (cling film etc, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs), cleaning things, tea-towels, toilet paper - all to avoid you having to buy these items at the outset!
On your arrival you can expect a warm welcome with a few goodies and a bottle of wine beckoning..
