Moon Shadow is a cottage with a difference; a?truly unique space, it's more akin to a slick boutique London hotel, than a fishermen's cottage in Cornwall. Split over two levels, downstairs you'll find the open plan living room and kitchen, whilst upstairs the whole space has been opened to the rafters with the bedroom area divided from the shower room by a built in wardrobe. With a state of the art, contemporary electric fireplace, Moon Shadow is a great spot to relax after a long walk on the beach. The layout of the cottage has been meticulously thought out to maximize the compact size. The finish is exceptional, amazing textures combine with mirrors, superb lighting and works of art to give this place an overwhelming sense of quality. Since the cottage has been completely re-insulated and soundproofed, you can enjoy one of Cornwall's most spectacular properties in peace and quiet. St Ives itself has no fewer than five fantastic beaches including Porthmeor, Porthgwidden and Porthminster, which for a town that you can walk across in less than 20 minutes is something in itself. Pale sands, turquoise water and some of the best surf around ensure that St Ives is consistently considered one of the most beautiful destinations in the UK. For those of you keen to get out and explore more of the surrounding countryside, the local area has some great walking and hiking trails.
