Our two holiday cottages, Taw and Torridge, have been converted from the old shippon.
Taw is the smaller of the two cottages. It is very open plan, light and airy with a small south facing patio to sit and relax or just enjoy the view.
Taw has views over open countryside from all the windows. Entering the property via a dining area leading to the lounge which has a double sofa bed, 1 double galleried bedroom and 1 bath/shower room downstairs, the kitchen is enclosed from the other rooms, there is a south facing enclosed garden patio with furniture and clothesline
Good food and arts centre (brochure available) within walking distance. Ideal for exploring the North Devon coast, Exmoor and Dartmoor, and ancient borough of Barnstaple Nearby are also excellent leisure facilities including Golf, Quad bikes, Paintball and Swimming and coarse and sea fishing.
Unfortunately this property is unsuitable for toddlers due to it being an open plan bedroom over looking the lounge. Small babies and older children welcome. Please check with the owner if you are not sure.
