Caldy Villa
Caldy Villa is a solidly built, turn of the century, semi detached cottage that nestles in a sleepy little back lane in the pretty Lledr Valley at Pont-y-Pant, just outside the village of Dolwyddelan.
It has a cosy lounge with an big open fireplace, there is a Freeview TV with DVD player and a comfortable three piece suite. The well appointed kitchen/diner has oak units, gas hob, electric double oven and grill, extractor fan, microwave, crockery & cutlery for six, all utensils, toaster, kettle, and even a wok.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms on two floors and a bathroom (bath with shower over). All bed linen and duvets are supplied and the beds will be already be made when you arrive. The property is all well decorated and maintained and is fully double-glazed. Facilities include full central heating, microwave, stereo, garden furniture and a gas barbeque is also provided.
From the decked area outside there are delightful views up the valley and fishing on the River Lledr is available locally. Ideally situated in the Snowdonia National Park it provides a perfect base for walking or cycling and, with Pont-y-Pant station nearby, it is accessible by public transport, so you can enjoy the freedom of days out without the car, the train links directly with the Ffestiniog railway and Llandudno.
The beaches of the Lleyn Peninsula, the mountains of Snowdonia, the Italianate village of Portmerion and some of the areas finest castles are within a half-hour drive and fishing on the River Lledr is available locally in season.
Caldy Villa is situated one mile from the village of Dolwyddelan which offers a well-stocked shop, a village pub and a hotel/ restaurant, plus of course a very famous castle, it’s only 3 miles away from Betws Y Coed.
