Nuthatch Lodge is a single-storey lodge on an eco-friendly livestock farm less than two miles from Winkleigh. The lodge has two bedrooms, a double and a room with bunks, along with a sofa bed in the open plan living area. This space offers excellent views towards Dartmoor, and the veranda is a great spot to sit and relax as you watch the abundant wildlife. There is off road parking for one car, and guests have shared use of the farm grounds, including walks, a mown badminton court and campfire area. Nuthatch Lodge is close to stunning walks and the coast is easily accessible, as is the dramatic scenery of Dartmoor.

The small rural village of Winkleigh in Devon offers a shop, Post Office, butcher's, cafe, two pubs and a cider company. There are walks and cycle routes all around, with the Dartmoor National Park a big draw, plus the city of Exeter is within driving distance.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
