There is off road parking for one car, an enclosed garden with furniture and guests also have shared use of the farm grounds, including walks, a mown badminton court and campfire area. Otter Cottage is close to stunning walks and the coast is easily accessible, as is the dramatic scenery of Dartmoor.

The small rural village of Winkleigh in Devon offers a shop, Post Office, butcher's, cafe, two pubs and a cider company. There are walks and cycle routes all around, with the Dartmoor National Park a big draw, plus the city of Exeter is within driving distance.
