Swallows Cottage is the entire ground floor of ‘Weavers Barn,' a 400 year old Grade II listed barn that has been tastefully renovated and transformed into a charming holiday home, furnished and decorated to a high standard. Amongst the long history of different uses the barn has had are, a venue for weaving the original Cornish tartan, a chapel and stabling for coach horses. However now it is a bright, sunny and comfortable cottage with an excellent garden, perfect for relaxing and enjoying barbecues at the end of a day spent on the beach. Situated in the centre of the picturesque village of Mitchell and only a short drive from Newquay, Fistral Bay (centre of the UK’s surfing scene) and both the North and South Cornish coasts, it is ideally placed to visit many of Cornwall’s best beaches, renowned restaurants and major attractions - Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Maritime Museum, Trerice House with its magnificent gardens - all within easy striking distance. You will even be welcomed by a delicious Cornish cream tea on arrival.

Accommodation:

Living room with two seater sofa, two cane chairs, flat screen TV/DVD and feature sloping slate window sill. Contemporary kitchen/diner with beamed ceiling, stripped wood flooring, electric hob, built under oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dining table to seat four. Utility room with washing machine, dishwasher, WC and hand basin. Master double bedroom with two 3ft single beds (zip linked to form a 6ft super king size bed), wall mounted TV/DVD, built in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Double bedroom with 4ft 6in double bed and built in wardrobe. (The beds have luxurious Tempur mattresses). Adjoining shower room with shower cubicle, basin and WC.

Outside:

Rear, private enclosed garden (for exclusive use of guests) with ample garden furniture. The garden is divided into a flat lawn on one side and a vegetable garden, barbecue area (with laid up barbecue) and decking on the other.

Parking: Area for up to 3 cars or a car and small boat trailer.
