This delightful converted threshing barn is situated down a quiet rural lane on the outskirts of Duloe, a pretty village a few miles from the seaside fishing port of Looe. Tastefully presented, well equipped and comfortably furnished, guests will appreciate the traditional flagstone floored farmhouse kitchen/dining room as well as the spacious first floor lounge, which features exposed beams, wooden panelling and part of the old threshing mechanism. A stable door opens onto a balcony overlooking the large garden as well as three comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms further enhance this wonderful property. The large well established garden has a sunny lawn and morning patio as well as a further garden terrace, both ideal for al fresco dining. The vibrant town of Looe and the quintessential fishing village of Polperro are both a few minute’s drive away. For those who love to explore the whole of Celtic Cornwall with its wonderful beaches, the fine restaurants and numerous attractions such as the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are easily accessible from this welcoming home from home.

Accommodation:

Large kitchen/dining room with flagstone floor. Shaker style kitchen with electric hob, built in oven and grill, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Dining area with oak extendable table to seat eight. Double bedroom with 5ft king size bed. Fully tiled shower room with shower, hand basin, and WC. Open tread stairs to the living room with twin leather sofas, Poang chair, exposed beams, 32" LCD TV and DVD. Door to balcony overlooking the garden with stairs down to the front patio. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. A couple of steps up to the master bedroom with 5ft king size bed and views over the garden. Off the lounge is a large family bathroom with bath, hand held shower, hand basin and WC. Further stairs from the lounge wind up to a delightful children’s twin bedroom set in the eaves with two 3ft single beds.

Outside:

A private drive with gate and plenty of parking leads past the upper patio, equipped with table and chairs. A level lawn extends in front of the barn with steps down to the morning patio furnished with garden table, chairs and sun shade. Beside the upper patio is an outside kennel with run.

Parking: On the driveway for several cars plus one in front of the garage.
