The cottage is nestled in the friendly and welcoming village of Broadhempston. This little known gem prides itself on its community atmosphere and offers a fully stocked local shop as well as two locally renowned Pubs. Surrounded by beautiful Devon countryside, the guests can enjoy many local scenic walks or for the more adventurous, the National Park of Dartmoor is a short drive away as is the beautiful and famous South Devon coastline.

Front door opens into porch. Door into delightful beamed living room. Lounge area with 2 sofas (one being a sofa bed for occasional use only), wood burning stove, flat screen TV with Blu-ray DVD, ipod docking station and digital radio. Dining area with table to comfortably accommodate 4. Glazed door from lounge area leads into kitchen. Traditional painted shaker kitchen cabinets with electric oven and hob and fridge freezer. Door leads into enclosed ‘potting shed’ room which houses a washer dryer and microwave. Door to rear garden. Stairs from kitchen leads to first floor landing. Sizeable bedroom with 6ft super king sleigh bed with painted floor boards, beautiful French wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables. Luxury bathroom with superb roll top bath with shower attachment and additional shower over, hand basin and WC.

Outside:

Sunny rear enclosed sloping garden which is bordered with flower beds and shrubs. Small pond. Steps up to a landscaped patio area with smart rattan garden furniture and parasol – perfect for alfresco dining. Barbecue. Garden shed.

On road parking possible near the cottage.
