A traditional cottage on the village green in this attractive village .Situated 1.5miles from the small market town of Kirkby Stephen at the head of the beautiful Eden Valley . Only 11 miles from the Yorkshire Dales and 25 miles from Lake Ullswater , Teesdale and Weardale are within easy driving distance, in fact whichever way you turn you will be delighted with the natural beauty that surrounds this unspoilt part of the country.The famous Carlisle - Settle railway is a journey not to be missed from Kirkby Stephen station , Fishing is available on the local association water on the river Eden , Golf is available at Appleby which is 10 miles away .

We (the owners) live next door and will do our best to ensure you have a great time in Winton a large garden and summerhouse along with barbeque facilities are available
