Bramley Cottage
Bramley Cottage is a delightful one bedroomed property adjoining a small one-time farmhouse in the beautiful North York Moors National Park. It is situated just above Egton Bridge approximately 7 miles from Whitby.
The well-equipped cottage is light and airy and overlooks the valley of the River Esk. The accommodation is comfortable and spacious with wonderful views from every window. Downstairs is a generously sized open plan kitchen/dining area with range cooker, microwave, washer/drier and fridge/freezer. A separate seating/relaxing area has two large sofas one of which is a bed settee for temporary extra accommodation if necessary.
Upstairs is a large double bedroom area with pretty Sanderson fabric for the curtains and bed linen. Also situated on this floor is the bathroom with washbasin, toilet and full size bath with hand held shower attachment.
Warmth throughout is provided by an oil-fired combi-boiler and all heating, electricity and linen charges are included (for two people.)
The cottage features many thoughtful extra touches including fresh flowers and an impressive 'welcome' basket of varying contents including new-laid eggs from the owners friendly chickens, a loaf of homemade bread, a bottle of wine and other goodies!
A changing display of original artwork is on show throughout, making the interior interesting and unique.
Outside there is an attractive lawned garden and off-road parking. In addition there are two seating areas each with outside furniture so that both the daytime sunshine and the often very dramatic evening sunsets can be enjoyed to the full.
There are many excellent places to eat out in the surrounding villages and Egton Bridge itself has two pubs and Egton a couple more!
Up to two really well behaved dogs over 12 months of age are welcome, by prior arrangement, providing they remain downstairs at all times and are never left unattended indoors.
Smoking is not permitted in any part of the cottage accommodation.
Bramley Cottage is an super base for exploring the nearby coastal towns and villages including Whitby, Goathland, Staithes, Robin Hood's Bay, Sandsend and Grosmont, but York, Pickering, Helmsley, Malton and Scarborough are also easily accessible and within a 45mile radius.
