Brahms: The Boy II

In 2016, William Brent Bell directed the horror thriller The Boy about a young woman (Lauren Cohan) who moves from Montana to England to work for a wealthy couple. Her principal duty is to care for a creepy porcelain doll named Brahms made in the likeness of the owners' son, who died in a house fire aged eight. The supernatural thrills and chills continue in a belated sequel, directed again by Bell from a script penned by Stacey Menear. Liza (Katie Holmes) and her partner Sean (Owain Yeoman) move into a guest house on the Heelshire Mansion estate with their son Jude (Christopher Convery). The family is oblivious to the property's dark history. During a walk in the grounds, Jude unearths demented doll Brahms and swiftly adopts the malevolent mannequin as his best friend. Brahms exerts terrifying power over Jude and manipulates the boy's actions with tragic consequences for everyone in the possessed poppet's orbit.
