The Body
Jeethu Joseph directs a Hindi-language remake of the unsettling 2012 Spanish thriller El Cuerpo. Detective Jairai (Rishi Kapoor) arrives at Port Louis Forensic Laboratory during a torrential downpour. A security guard has been found with acute paranoia, apparently scared to the brink of death by something has seen. It transpires that the body of powerful businesswoman Maya (Sobhita Dhulipala) has vanished from the morgue. When Jairai informs Maya's husband, lecturing professor Ajay (Emraan Hashmi), about the disappearance of the pharmaceutical baroness, the cop suspects foul play. Jairai becomes convinced that Ajay murdered his wife and is trying to cover up his crime.
