Michal Wegrzyn directs a biographical drama about Polish rapper and songwriter Tomasz Chada, whose unexplained death sent shockwaves through the music scene. Born in Warsaw, Chada (Piotr Witkowski) grows up with his mother (Ewa Zietek) in a block of flats. He repeatedly gets into trouble but has the soul of a poet and channels this creativity and emotional pain into his music. He releases his debut album Proceder in 2009 and mixes in circles that jeopardise his burgeoning career. Thankfully, beautiful psychology student Monika (Agnieszka Wiedlocha) provides Chada with the love and stability he needs to flourish until demons take hold of him and propel him to the brink of self-destruction. The film contains a sequence of flashing lights, which might affect customers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy
