Saand Ki Aankh
Tushar Hiranandani directs a biographical drama inspired by the stories of octogenarian Indian sharpshooters Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar. Grandmother Chandro Tomar (Bhumi Pednekar) lives in the village of Johri with her extended family. She accompanies her granddaughter Shefali to John Rifle Club, where there girl wishes to practice her skills on the shooting range. Unexpectedly, Chandro shows a natural flair with a rifle and she embarks on a momentous journey of self-discovery. Meanwhile, Chandro's sister-in-law Prakashi (Taapsee Pannu) accompanies her daughter Seema to the same shooting range and demonstrates how to hold a weapon. Consequently, she also joins Johri Rifle Club and becomes a figure of inspiration across India by competing in various national and international championships.
