The Pilgrim's Progress
One man embarks on an odyssey to rediscover his faith in an animated drama written and directed by Robert Fernandez, which is based on John Bunyan's 17th-century allegory. Christian Pilgrim (voiced by David Thorpe) lives in the city of Destruction with his family, where the hopes and dreams of the innocent have been repeatedly crushed by oppressive rule. By chance, he discovers a journal full sketches of a mythical place known as Celestial City. The possibility that this paradise exists puts Christian at odds with his loved ones, who are riddled with doubt. Unlike them, Christian places his faith in Celestial City and he heads out alone into the unknown, facing numerous obstacles and challenges that test his mental and physical resolve.
