The Climbers
In May 1960, members of the China Everest Climbing Commando including team leader Fang Wuzhou (Wu Jing) and Qu Songlin (Zhang Li) successfully scale Mount Everest. Unfortunately, they fail to capture photographic evidence of this momentous achievement, which would bring pride to their country. Many years later, a new team attempts the ascent along the perilous North Ridge. Fang and Qu join the expedition in search of redemption and pit their strength and resilience against Mother Nature alongside new comrades including Li Guoliang (Jing Boran) and Yang Guang (He Gu).
