Elvis Unleashed
In June 1968, after several years in front of film cameras, Elvis Presley headed to Burbank Studios to film his first TV special in front of adoring fans. This documentary includes outtakes and previously unseen footage from the comeback special alongside interviews with experts and fans about the impact of Presley on their lives. Talking heads include actor and musician Dennis Quaid and singer-songwriter Jade Jackson, who perform their favourite tracks, and music journalist Randy Lewis, who reveals the behind-the-scenes relationship between Presley, manager Colonel Parker and the TV show's director, Steve Binder.
