Princess Emmy
A young princess overcomes the odds to preserve her magical secret in an animated adventure directed by Piet de Rycker. King Karl (voiced by John Hannah) and Queen Karla of Kandis (Franke Potente) look forward to Princess Day, when their eight-year-old daughter Emmy (Ruby Barnhill) becomes a full member of the Royal Society. The girl is excited about the ceremony but her confidence takes a blow when she realises that her practically perfect cousin, Gizana (Bella Ramsey), will also officially take the title of princess that day. Emmy has always languished in Gizana's shadow and she fears her cousin will overwhelm her on her special occasion. Rather than concentrating on training for Princess Day, Emmy focuses on her magical ability: she can communicate with her horses. The King and Queen are disappointed by their daughter's attitude and they issue a stern punishment, which jeopardises Emmy's standing.
