A Faithful Man (L'Homme Fidele)
Louis Garrel directs, co-writes and stars in a modern-day romance, which casts him as one point of a volatile love triangle. Abel (Garrel) is silently crushed when his girlfriend Marianne (Laetitia Casta) reveals she is leaving to have a baby with his best friend Paul. They intend to marry and raise the child together. Many years pass and Abel is unable to recover from Marianne's desertion. He receives news that Paul has died and attends the funeral, hoping for a reconciliation with the object of enduring desire. Unexpectedly, Paul's younger sister Eve (Lily-Rose Depp) catches his eye and she aggressively pursues him in direct competition with Marianne.
