Director Jagan Shakti shoots for the stars with a rousing drama about an Indian mission to Mars, loosely based on the true story of the Indian Space Research Organisation's involvement in the Mars Orbiter Mission. India plans to launch a satellite to Mars and assembles a motley crew of scientists to achieve this daring feat. Rakesh Dhawan (Akshay Kumar) and Tara Shinde (Vidya Balan) are part of the team of brilliant minds, who must overcome personal differences and their own insecurities to ensure the mission is a success and restore the nation's confidence in its space program.
