Gaza
In 2007, Islamic resistance movement Hamas began governing the Gaza Strip and Israel imposed its blockade, completely sealing the borders of the tiny coastal territory, which has witnessed three wars in the past decade. Almost two million Palestinians live in poverty in Gaza, electricity is only available for four hours a day and the water is largely undrinkable. Documentary filmmakers Garry Keane and Andrew McConnell's travel to this crossroads between continents facing the Mediterranean Sea to meet some of the people who inhabit the land including taxi driver Ahmed and 19-year-old Karma.
