Balance, Not Symmetry
Director Jamie Adams collaborates with Scottish band Biffy Clyro on a low-key study of grief and self-discovery, filmed on location in Glasgow. British-American art student Caitlin Walker (Laura Harrier) feels emotionally numb after the death of her father. She struggles to make sense of her grief as she attends art school and supports her emotionally needy mother, Mary (Kate Dickie). Caitlin's spunky flatmate Hannah (Bria Vinaite) provides welcome support in this time of upheaval but Caitlin's turbulent relationship with artist Rory (Scott Miller) only adds to her woes as she searches for a creative outlet for her pain.
