In 1967, the Sexual Offences Act partially decriminalised homosexuality in the UK, setting down a marker for the LGBTQ+ liberation movement in the west. Director Ashley Joiner's debut feature is a documentary which celebrates the history of Pride in the UK, exploring the continuing relevance of the Pride march and the battles that continue to be fought for the hearts and minds of British people. The film incorporates archive footage, images and interviews with key members of the Gay Liberation Front, Stonewall and various Pride marches across the UK, notably Black Pride, Trans Pride Brighton and Queer Picnic.
