Liam: As It Was
Born and raised in Burnage, Manchester with older brother Noel, Liam Gallagher rocketed to stardom in the early 1990s as lead singer of chart-topping rock band Oasis, whose simmering rivalry with Blur became a defining feature of the Britpop era. Oasis recorded one of the biggest selling albums in chart history, (What's The Story) Morning Glory?, and won numerous awards. In 2009, Noel left the band and brother Liam's champagne super nova bubble burst. He formed Beady Eye before pursuing a solo career including an emotional appearance at the One Love Manchester benefit concert. Directors Charlie Lightening and Gavin Fitzgerald follow Liam as he reflects on his turbulent past and prepares to return to music on his own terms.
