The Dig
Ronan Callahan (Moe Dunford) is sentenced to 15 years in prison for the murder of his on-off girlfriend. He has no memory of the crime, which happened during a drunken night out, but police chief Murphy (Francis Magee) and locals are convinced of Ronan's guilt. He serves time and returns to his late father's farmhouse to try and rebuild his life. Unfortunately, his supposed victim's father, Sean McKenna (Lorcan Cranitch), won't rest until he has found his daughter's body, which he presumes is buried on Callahan land. Ronan decides to dig for the truth alongside Sean, if only to confirm one way or another his own guilt. In the process, Ronan forges an uneasy bond with Sean and his surviving daughter Roberta (Emily Taaffe).
